For years, I worked as a nurse, helping others heal. But the truth is, my healing did not begin until I stopped giving my power away and started reclaiming it. Reclaiming my essence was not a gentle shift; it broke me open and led me into the raw, necessary work of ancestry, identity, and sacred rebellion. It showed me that midlife is not a breakdown. It is an awakening.
I did not arrive here through clarity or confidence. I arrived through unraveling. Burnout, grief, and the slow suffocation of becoming who everyone else needed me to be wore me down. Eventually, midlife came, not as a crisis, but as a reckoning, a quiet, undeniable knowing that something had to change.
I did not need more tools; I needed to remember who I was before the world told me who to be.
The remembering pulled me deeper into ancestral healing, embodiment, and soul contract work. I began to see that so much of what I was carrying—resentment, exhaustion, and invisibility—was not just mine but was inherited, generational, and sacred.
I began unlearning the rules that kept me small. I stopped performing for a life that never felt like mine and started building my own rooted in truth, presence, and meaning.
